Chassis 3D Models & Files
Under competition rules, teams using kits must make modifications or print the chassis themselves. Download parametric STEP files for CAD customization in Fusion 360, Onshape, or SolidWorks, or download ready-to-slice STL files.
Rules permit commercial kits as parts, but devices cannot be pre-assembled, and teams must make modifications if using a kit (stock kit bottle pushers are strictly forbidden). Teams do not have to modify the structural chassis itself; you can print the chassis as is and add your own modifications to the mounting holes on the sides and top (such as ballast counterweights, battery holders, or optical sighting jigs), modify the bottle pusher which is screwed in at the front, or customize the CAD files directly prior to 3D printing.

EVDrive Main Chassis Baseplate
Primary rigid chassis bed with precision cutouts for dual NEMA 17 stepper motors, battery cradle mounting slots, ESP32-S3 PCB standoff mounts, and an integrated rear caster socket. Includes an M3 mounting grid on the sides and top for custom team hardware.
Modular Front Screw-In Bottle Pusher
Front pusher bracket designed to screw directly into the front M3 mounting holes on the main chassis. Features rounded contact surfaces (radius > 7mm) to push bottles smoothly without cupping or holding.
Top Electronics Deck & Optics Plate
Secondary plate that mounts above the EVDrive PCB using M3 standoffs. Provides physical protection and a platform for non-laser optical sighting devices, run-start tactile buttons, or custom displays.
Side Rail Mounts & Weight Brackets
Modular left and right accessory rails that screw directly into the chassis side M3 holes for fine-tuning center-of-gravity or mounting auxiliary switches.
1/4" Timing Dowel Measurement Clamp
Split-clamp block engineered to hold the mandatory 1/4-inch (6.35mm) wooden dowel perpendicular to the floor within the required ground clearance for timing and measurement.
AS5600 Magnetic Encoder Alignment Jigs
Sensor brackets that rigidly locate the AS5600 magnetic encoder PCBs close to the diametric neodymium axle magnets on each wheel for reliable odometry.
